The complex structure to the extreme north of the site has
been identified as the bow. Maurice Young first recognised the
structural elements as breast-hooks, laminated stem and beak-head
timbers.
Despite the apparent isolation of this section, excavation demonstrated
that it continues beneath the sand.
Between stations 4 & 5, siphon holes in the sand indicate the presence
of bi-valve molluscs such as razor shells.
